I found the connect speed is very very terrible compared with my local web hosting used before....... It can't be acceptable if I need to upload a picture to server........ Can we sue Simonweb (web hosting provider) for taking our money but not providing uptime or support? Simonweb has had what I would guess is about a 60% uptime on our website hosted with them. They no longer answer support emails, we cannot cancel our membership through our settings, and they continue to charge us every month. We have our honeymoon registry and a business portfolio on this site, so besides the money they're taking every month for almost nothing, we're losing money when the site is not up. I've found other people complaining about the same thing online. We've already filed a complaint with the BBB. Can we sue?

My website was not viewable sometimes for weeks on end, even though it had been working for a couple of days once I registered. Multiple tickets had been raised, frontpage extensions was reinstalled loads of times etc I complained because of this, and got abused by their customer services department, I managed to get ones month refund, which wasnt the full amount. And now they wont let me transfer my domain name away from them (I had been with them for other 90days)

I had made payment to Vision web hosting to provide me service for two years.Payment was through secure gate way & i had conformation from Bank that they have received payment. Service was good for 45 days. Web hosting provider's SMTP ??? What do I need to do to set a SMTP on a PHP based comment form ??? I've got the form ready along with all the necessary field validation and everything. I would like to create a website- I'm not sure what it will be on so far (either a personal About Me sort of a thing or on a specific hobby or both) but I would also like to possibly sell things on it via Paypal later. I see there are many different types of providers available, based on what I plan to do with the site, and I am confused by it all. Part II of my question is, is it easier (cheaper) to sell things through ebay or by selling creating your own web site? Anyone who might tell me which web hosting service is better, GoDaddy or Surpass Hosting? I have been a Surpass Hosting client for several years, but I have been very dissapointed lately due to changes in their prices (higher) and because I am having problems to place new orders. I would like to know if GoDaddy (this is where I register domain names) is a good option for a change or I am open to any suggestions for any other provider which you can assure is 100% liable and with good prices (cpanel, please). Surpass' least expensive plan costs $65USD/yr and GoDaddy's $43USD/yr. I have analyzed both plans features and it seems to me Surpass offers a lot more, but I am having trouble with some other aspects of their service.
