web design?
what would be the "must have" softwear i need to learn to design web pages? and what book would u recommend? i wanna help in the house economy by designing web sites. i have a small e mac thank you! ; )

- For Christmas, I have my 16-year old brother a (I'll admit pirated) copy of Adobe Web Bundle and this book: http://www.sitepoint.com/books/html1/ Software Photoshop or equivalent (something to edit graphics) Dreamweaver Book: Build Your Own Websites The Right Way Using HTML & CSS These are "beginner" tools. When you get more advanced, you can dump Dreamweaver for something more pro.
- You can try using Adobe Dreamweaver, which is a powerful web creation program. I suggest you use the creative web/studio cs3 package which comes with photoshop and fireworks to create images etc.
- Just use Notepad and write your websites properly! To learn any web scripting language, the W3 Schools website is absolutely brilliant, it has good tutorials on any script you might want to use on the web: http://www.w3schools.com/
